Biography

Jeffrey Hall is a professor of educational leadership at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research, University of Oslo. Hall conducts research on the following topics:

  • education policy
  • education law
  • education reforms
  • governance of the education sector
  • educational leadership

His work has been published in a number of leading international journals, such as the Journal of Education Policy, Scandinavian Journal of Educational Research, Journal of Educational Administration and History and Critical Studies in Education. In addition, he has been co-author and editor of several academic books. Before embarking on his research career, Hall had extensive experience in primary and lower secondary education, as a middle manager, advisor, practicum supervisor, and teacher.
